KEY 1: You Must Have Strong Motivation
Maybe the most important thing you can do initially is understand why you want a home business of your own. Even the best home business opportunities are not enough to pull you through if you are not motivated by your own personal reason for getting started.

With the economy today it certainly is important to create additional income streams to protect yourself from a potential job loss or recession. Or maybe it is just the desire to add another layer of financial security.
Once you understand why you want to start a home business you can formulate your own goals to help motivate yourself to do the necessary work.
KEY 2: Believe You Can Do It!
